Senior Art Director
About the role
This role is for a Senior Art Director at GSW Santa Monica. The role is hybrid, requiring 2 days/week in the office and open to remote candidates on the West Coast. Candidates from the East Coast are not considered.
Responsibilities
- Develop original content in collaboration with copywriters
- Partner with copywriters on brand and concept development
- Take ownership of assigned brands by proactively generating new ideas
- Ideate and design across channels, including digital, print, and social media
- Collaborate to implement brand mandates and push creative boundaries
- Bring conceptual creativity to every assignment
- Quickly learn and apply industry, product, and technical knowledge
- Collaborate closely with UX, Technology, and Customer Experience (CX) teams
- Lead tactical ideation, creation, and execution of original content across platforms
- Maintain the integrity of creative work by shepherding and negotiating content through regulatory and MLR processes
Requirements
3–4 years' of pharma agency experience
A portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual thinking, design craft, and idea development
Proven experience concepting and designing for social content, with an understanding of platform-specific best practices
Confidence presenting ideas and collaborating across disciplines
Curiosity, adaptability, and a passion for creating work that connects
