Senior Architect (licensed) / Senior Associate (unlicensed)

About the role

HGLV Architects is seeking a Senior Architect (licensed) or Senior Associate (unlicensed) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in architectural design, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex architectural projects from concept through completion
• Create detailed construction documents and specifications
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions
• Manage project schedules and budgets
• Contribute to the development of design guidelines and standards
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices

Requirements

• Accredited degree in architecture (B.Arch. or M.Arch)
• 10+ years of experience in architectural design
• Proficiency in ArchiCAD (or equivalent) software
• Experience working in all phases of architectural projects
• Strong understanding of commercial and residential building codes
• Ability to produce construction drawings
• Knowledge of architectural licensing requirements or a clear path to licensure
• Professional certifications such as LEED, NCARB, etc. are a plus

• Strong work ethic and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist with various team responsibilities
