Senior Architect/Engineer - Federal Healthcare

About the Role

Lead design and construction projects, primarily in medical facilities, with a focus on ensuring project compliance, quality, and technical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Interface with clients to define project requirements and develop comprehensive plans.
• Review schedules, align work plans, and monitor on-site processes for adherence to drawings, codes, and security standards.
• Coordinate all project phases, oversee engineering analysis, and prepare detailed plans and specifications.
• Provide technical oversight across engineering disciplines, ensuring project success.
• Supervise and manage diverse project personnel, including architects, engineers, and technicians.
• Conduct site surveys, assess project scope, and collaborate with medical center personnel to address specific design needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, architecture, or engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in design and construction within medical facilities.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with field and office teams.
• Fluent in project management principles and execution.
• Ability to analyze project data, assess compliance, and communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of construction contracts, building codes, budgeting, and scheduling.
