Senior Architect (Dallas Water Utilities - Civil Service)

Skill Requirements

• Knowledge of Architecture design and implementation
• Knowledge of the building and construction process
• Knowledge of regulatory and legal issues related to building design and construction
• Knowledge of design systems and software
• Knowledge of project management
• Ability to supervise, direct, manage and oversee subordinate staff ensuring training, certifications, and quality work
• Ability to determine code requirements, design, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system design
• Ability to manage budget, grant, and bond programs
• Communicating effectively verbally and in writing
• Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited university
• Experience: Four (4) years’ experience as a licensed architect, including familiarity with construction cost estimating, CAD drafting, project administration, project scheduling, building materials, and methods of construction

$85,176.00 - $106,475.20 The salary listed on this job posting is the starting salary range; amount offered will depend upon qualifications.
