Senior Architect

About the role

The Senior Architect will lead the design and delivery of projects across various sectors, collaborating with both the Southern Idaho and Utah-based teams. This role supports a hybrid work model, including remote work and regular travel to project sites in southern Idaho.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, documentation, and coordination across multiple project phases
• Oversee preparation of drawings and models for schematic design, design development, and construction documentation
• Apply advanced knowledge of building systems, codes, and construction methods to project work
• Coverage with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure alignment and quality
• Serve as a key contributor in client communication, presentations, and project decision-making
• Lead construction administration efforts, including RFIs, submittals, site visits, and issue resolution
• Ensure quality, organization, and consistency across deliverables

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field
• Typically 8–15 years of professional experience
• Licensed Architect required
• Advanced proficiency in Revit; familiarity with additional design tools (SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite) a plus
• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction documentation, and multidisciplinary coordination
• Prominent ability to lead project components and mentor team members
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and in a hybrid environment including active construction sites
