Senior Architect
Responsibilities
- Aid project managers in developing work plans and schedules.
- Collaborate with design teams during programming and conceptual phases.
- Lead the technical team in preparing design development and construction documents.
- Cook up coordination with internal engineering teams and external consultants.
- Develop architectural technical specifications.
- Oversee construction administration including site observation, RFI responses, and submittal reviews.
- Manage small to medium-sized projects when needed.
- Contribute to departmental initiatives such as updating technical standards and mentoring junior staff.
Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited university, with a Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in architecture, with 8+ years preferred in the commercial space.
- Architectural licensure preferred.
- Proficiency in Revit; familiarity with AutoCAD and BSD Spec Link is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and detail-oriented mindset.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and adaptable.
- Ability to work collaboratively under tight deadlines.
