Senior Applied AI Solutions Architect, Federal Financial

About the role

Amazon Web Services is seeking a Senior Applied AI Solutions Architect to support our Federal Financial Regulatory customers in the Arlington, VA and Washington, DC area. This position requires that the candidate selected be a U.S. Citizen and must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance as required by the customer.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and consult on applications and infrastructures using technologies related to artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, or generative AI.
• Provide technical guidance on AI/ML engagements to enable large-scale customer use cases and drive adoption of AI/ML across the federal financial portfolio.
• Interact with customers and Specialists and Generalist Solutions Architects in the field to provide technical expertise and support.
• Create white papers, reference architectures, and presentations to enable customers and partners to fully leverage applied AI on AWS.
• Develop field enablement materials for the broader SA population, helping them integrate AI solutions into customer architectures.

Requirements

Candidates must have outstanding communication skills and be deeply technical, with the ability to engage AWS customers at any level — from agency executives to data scientists and developers. Previous experience with AWS is desired but not required, provided you have experience building large-scale AI/ML solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
• Associate's degree or above, or CASP+ (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner) or CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) or Cloud+ or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
• Experience working with end user or developer communities
