Senior Applications Engineer, Corporate Systems
About the role
The Corporate Systems team at Robinhood focuses on maintaining secure, reliable systems that support employees across the company. This team collaborates with Security, IT, and Engineering partners to manage identity systems, endpoint devices, and cloud infrastructure. The goal is to ensure systems are scalable, dependable, and prepared to address evolving security risks.
Responsibilities
- Manage and improve systems that support identity, device management, and cloud infrastructure
- Design and build tools based on internal requirements to improve system functionality and efficiency
- Develop automation for device, account, and identity lifecycle management processes
- Support engineering teams by troubleshooting system issues and resolving escalations
- Review, write, and code, write clear documentation, and follow established engineering practices
Requirements
- Experience as a Systems, Site Reliability, Infrastructure, or related engineer, typically with 5+ years in similar environments
- Hands-on experience managing macOS or Windows devices using modern endpoint management tools
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Gemini
- Experience coding or scripting in languages such as Python, Swift, Go, Bash, or PowerShell
- Methodical problem-solving skills, ability to work independently or with others, and focus on improving employee-facing systems

Pay
This role is eligible for performance-based compensation, bonuses, and equity. Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, including education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones.
Schedule
The role is based in our Menlo Park, CA office(s), with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.
