Senior Application Project Manager

About the role

CGI Federal is seeking a Senior Application Project Manager to support a program for the Army's PL ALTESS contract. The position is based in USA VA Radford.

Responsibilities

• Utilize agile development best practices to manage multiple application modernization projects.
• Oversee requirements gathering, estimation, and drafting of development stories.
• Facilitate backlog reviews and sprint planning meetings.
• Coordinate resources and review QA results.
• Perform final project reviews and provide staffing recommendations for new or expanding projects.
• Manage project budgets and resource allocation to ensure projects stay within budget.
• Manage master project schedules and reprioritize efforts to prevent project delays.
• Communicate project status to customers and work with development teams to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.

Requirements

• Three or more years' experience with Dev/Sec/Ops development strategies.
• Three or more years' experience with Agile development processes and tools.
• Three or more years' experience with Quality Assurance (QA) application testing.
• Three or more years' experience managing budgets and resources across multiple application projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience effectively managing multiple large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical/business discipline or equivalent years of experience managing application development projects.
• Working knowledge of DoD STIGs, and IAVM.

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 - $176,300.00.

Schedule

The position is full-time.
