About the role
The Senior Application Analyst at Exact Sciences works on software design, configurations, upgrades, and improvements. They support application end-users, resolve issues impacting other application teams, and guide workflow design. This role involves leading and mentoring a team, supporting end-users, and aligning business needs with system changes.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for business systems design and configuration, and upgrades and improvements for low to medium complexity applications.
- Design and implement solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
- Develop new processes and procedures to meet current challenges.
- Create and maintain system documentation.
- Liaise with business systems stakeholders and software vendor’s implementation staff to ensure alignment of business needs with the delivery of system changes.
- Troubleshoot problems and questions and provide regular updates on status to key business stakeholders.
- Provide end-user production support for issues entered into issue tracking systems.
- Assign or delegate configuration or other activities to other team members.
- Lead internal process design and documentation to drive continuous improvement for the IT department or team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience developing or configuring technology solutions, either in an application analyst or project delivery role.
- In-depth knowledge of PPDS, Digital Manufacturing and Quality Management design and configuration in SAP.
- Experience leading teams of analysts and directing work of others.
- Understanding of integration points between PPDS, Digital Manufacturing and Quality modules of SAP.
- Experience leading complex projects and coordinating work amongst a cross-functional team.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
