About the role
This position leads in the analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation of new and existing application systems used within Renown Health entities. This position partners with the user community to resolve technical problems, application performance issues as well as leads optimization and enhancement efforts. This position oversees the design, configuration, testing and supporting of files and system changes within assigned products and scope, including system administration functions. The incumbent in this position will be a primary contact for external users for designated product(s) and will assist in leading large projects.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, configure, test, implement, and support Epic Beaker and related applications.
- Support the implementation of Beaker, including workflow design, system optimization, and collaboration with clinical and operational leaders to ensure successful deployment.
- Translate complex clinical and business requirements into efficient, compliant solutions that enhance laboratory workflows, patient care, and operational outcomes.
- Work alongside IT teams, leadership, and end users to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions supporting Beaker Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
Requirements
- Experience with Data Innovations (DI) is preferred.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in an Information Technology, health care, science, business field, or an equivalent level of professional experience preferred.
- Experience: 6+ years' experience working in an Information Technology or Healthcare setting. 6+ years in healthcare application analysis or application configuration and support experience.
Skills
- Project Management experience preferred.
- Application Certification, Accreditation or Proficiency may be required on application(s).
