Senior Android Engineer - Alarms

About the role

We're looking for a Mobile Engineer to help build and maintain the mobile experience for our Alarms product across both Android and iOS. This role is focused on developing high-quality mobile applications used for real-time monitoring, alerts, and incident response. You will also work on device-facing experiences, including building native Linux-based UIs for embedded products.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain features across Android and iOS mobile applications for the Alarms product
• Develop real-time user experiences for alerts, video, and system status
• Collaborate closely with product, design, backend, and firmware teams
• Write clean, maintainable, and performant code across mobile platforms
• Help shape architecture and technical direction for mobile development
• Contribute to embedded / Linux UI development for hardware products

What You Bring

• 6+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience building mobile applications on both Android and iOS
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX patterns and performance considerations
• Experience working with APIs and asynchronous systems
• Product mindset with attention to usability and reliability

Nice to Have

• Experience building embedded Linux UIs, such as for infotainment systems or other device interfaces (e.g., Qt or similar frameworks)
• Exposure to hardware-integrated products or IoT systems

Annual Pay Range

The estimated annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable), is $150,000—$280,000 USD.
