Senior Analytics Engineer, Full-stack

About the role

Hercules is looking for a senior analytics and full-stack engineer to help us build the future of AI software development. Our data stack includes Airbyte and Google Cloud Datastream for ETL, BigQuery and Clickhouse as data warehouses, DBT for data modeling, and Omni for semantic layer and business intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Own our full data-stack: ETL – get data from 3rd party providers (Stripe, Meta ads, operational database, etc.) into our Data warehouse (BigQuery)
• Data modeling – clean and model data using DBT and the medallion architecture
• Semantic layer modeling – define and model key business metrics to ensure 100% accuracy
• Business intelligence – create dashboards and visualizations in Omni, making it self‑serve for the entire company

Skills

• Software fundamentals: system design, architecture, data modeling, and API design
• Code and codebase quality: write clean, maintainable code; work effectively in monorepos
• Data modeling: strong experience with DBT or another declarative data modeling framework
• Semantic layers: strong experience with at least one semantic layer modeling framework like Omni, Looker, etc.
• Business intelligence: strong understanding of different ways to display data for easy consumption
• AI: ability to 10x your workflow by being on the frontier of AI coding

Pay

$100k‑$250k + equity (variable based on seniority, equity, and location)
