Senior Analytics Consultant
About This Role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant to support ongoing support, administration, and development of enterprise business intelligence and reporting solutions. The role requires deep expertise in MicroStrategy, advanced SQL, data warehousing, and analytics tool and connectivity support.
The role involves consulting, reviewing, and researching moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges, performing moderately complex data analysis, leading or participating on large cross-group projects, mentoring less experienced staff, collaborating with peers, and ensuring compliance and risk management requirements are met.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 1+ years of experience in BI and Analytics development, administration, and support
- Experience in MicroStrategy/Strategy Architecture, Intelligence Server, Workstation, Library, Dossiers, Reports, and Dashboards
- Experience designing and developing enterprise BI solutions using MicroStrategy/Strategy or other BI tools
Desired Qualifications
- Experience designing and developing and end-user support of BI solutions using Strategy, Tableau, PowerBI, ThoughtSpot, Starburst, Dremio
- REST API integrations and MicroStrategy/Strategy SDK experience
- Python scripting for automation and analytics
- Knowledge of data governance and data catalog solutions
- Exposure to AI/ML analytics on GCP
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile tools
- Strong understanding of metadata management and schema architecture
- Experience with performance tuning and query optimization
- Advanced SQL development and optimization skills
- Experience writing complex queries, stored procedures, views, and performance-tuned reporting queries
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data integration frameworks
- Experience validating data quality and implementing data reconciliation processes
- Build and maintain executive dashboards, operational reports, and KPI scorecards
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- User, group, and security administration within MicroStrategy
- Manage object migration across DEV, QA, UAT, and PROD environments
- Implement security filters and role-based access controls
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis

Pay and Benefits
- Salary Range: $87,000 - $140,000 - Charlotte, NC
- $87,000 - $140,000 - West Des Moines, IA
- $87,000 - $140,000 - Irving, TX
- $96,000 - $154,000 - Minneapolis, MN
