About the Role
As the Senior Analyst, Tax Accounting & Technology, you will support and enhance the Company’s global tax processes through tax technology, automation, and data management initiatives across the tax function. This role combines hands-on management of tax accounting processes with responsibility for driving system improvements, process standardization, and reporting enhancements in a publicly traded multinational environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation of foreign components of the quarterly and annual income tax provision.
- Assist with analysis of effective tax rate drivers.
- Assist in maintaining SOX compliance and audit readiness for tax processes.
- Support execution of the tax technology roadmap, including automation, data integration, and system enhancements.
- Partner with IT and Finance teams to enhance tax functionality with financial reporting systems and improve tax data flows.
- Assist with implementation, maintenance, and optimization of tax tools, compliance systems, and reporting platforms, including bringing tax provision software in-house within 18–24 months.
- Assist in building standardized reporting packages and tax dashboards for leadership.
- Partner with FP&A to ensure accurate legal entity budget inclusive of key transfer pricing calculations is improved for quarterly tax forecasting.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of relevant tax experience, with Big-4 experience or publicly traded multinational company.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar field.
- Strong ASC 740 or international tax technical background.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting, listening, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing, industrial, automotive, or supply chain-intensive industry experience.
- Experience with tax provision and compliance software.
- Experience with data analytics, automation, or finance transformation initiatives.
