Senior Analyst - Supply Chain & Procurement

Responsibilities

• Gather data and conduct complex analysis to improve supply chain and procurement operations.
• Identify underperforming areas in supply chain and purchasing processes and suggest improvements or resolutions.
• Perform analytics and statistical modeling on large data sets to optimize supply chain operations, procurement workflows, sourcing activities, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
• Apply mathematical, statistical, and economic techniques to determine and forecast the cost and availability of raw materials, supplier performance, customer demand, production capacity, and cost-effective shipping options.
• Support procurement and buying activities by analyzing spend data, supplier performance, market trends, and sourcing opportunities to drive value and mitigate risk.
• Create data mining architectures/models/protocols, statistical reporting, and data analysis methodologies to identify supply chain and procurement improvements and simulate the impact of proposed initiatives.
• Partner with business line managers, procurement teams, buyers, and key stakeholders to understand and frame operational and sourcing challenges for further analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree – Supply Chain Management/Administration is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree – International Economy & Trading / Supply Chain Management / Administration is preferred.
• 5 years’ related experience with a proven track record in supply chain value.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience dominating the following skills:
• Proven, effective analytical skills.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills, ability to generate accurate and timely analysis using advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong data mining, aggregation and analytical skills.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately and manage process to finalize open items pending from external sources.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions and departments within the organization.
• Ability to work effectively under time constraints and multi task.
• Ability to work with ambiguity.
• Motivated self-starter who is organized, efficient and team- oriented.
• Ability to travel 0-25% of the time.
