Senior Analyst Route Planning

Position Summary

JetBlue is seeking a Senior Analyst Route Planning based at their Support Center in Long Island City, NY. The Route Planning team develops JetBlue's route network strategy, analyzes network performance, and advises on strategic growth.

Essential Responsibilities

• Analyze JetBlue Airways network performance and identify opportunities
• Monitor industry capacity changes
• Collaborate with Schedule Planning to transition route concepts through successful execution
• Prepare materials for quarterly earnings calls
• Support internal and external partners
• Perform ad hoc fleet- and network-related projects
• Mentor and train new crewmembers
• Support other teams

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Public Policy or related field, or equivalent experience
• At least four (4) years of relevant work experience
• Three (3) years of work experience in commercial aviation, finance, management consulting, or a related field
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong written and verbal communication ability
• Available for overnight travel (10%)
• Passes a pre-employment drug test
• Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

• Two (2) years of work experience in Consulting, Finance, or commercial roles
• Experience with database querying, automation languages, and data visualization

• Able to maintain a professional appearance
• Supports JetBlue’s Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy, and behavioral standards
• Identifies and reports safety and/or security concerns

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is between $88,000.00 and $132,000.00 per year. Base pay is part of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which includes healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
