About the role
The Sr. Analyst, Health & Welfare Benefits plays a crucial role in the Health & Welfare Benefits Team at Omnicom Corporate. Reporting to the Director, Health & Welfare Benefits, this role involves partner with the Health & Welfare Team on leave and disability administration execution, responding to and troubleshooting routine inquiries regarding benefits programs, assisting with health insurance administration, and supporting the implementation and transition management of new benefits programs.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Health & Welfare Team on leave and disability administration execution
- Responds to and troubleshoots routine inquiries regarding benefits programs from HR community, mainly utilizing internal case ticketing system
- Aids Health & Welfare team with health insurance administration
- Aids with Annual Enrollment activities and the preparation and distribution of benefits communication and other materials
- Escalates complex benefits processing issues
- Maintains vendor contact to investigate discrepancies, claim issues, and provide information
- Identifies needs for modifications or changes in plan administrative procedures
- Identifies, researches, and follows up on procedural and discrepancy issues, and provides recommendations for resolution
- Prepares schedules and performs tasks as assigned by Health & Welfare team, assisting with annual plan audits, government agency filings, and other special projects
- Supports Wellbeing strategy and activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Benefits, or Management Information Systems
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the benefit space, including analytical and practical experience in Benefits/Group Insurance supporting systems and integrations
- Proficient in detailed project plan development and management
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required, including the ability to develop, analyze, and maintain complex reports; proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and other business applications
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent organizational skills; time management, and precise attention to detail
- Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills
- Ability to think through interdependencies and long-term implications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Qualifications
- Professional, confidential, self-starter who is enthusiastic and comfortable with ambiguity
- Proficient computer skills (e.g., Web/internet, Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Pay
$55,000 - $100,000 USD
Schedule
Regular in-office presence five days per week. Available to work from the Stamford, CT office on designated critical business days as required.
