About the role

We are seeking a US Chief Administrative Officer/Technology, Data, and AI (CAO/TDAI) to join our team. Reporting ownership, leveraging technology, stakeholder engagement, and data governance are key responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Empower CIBC's Reporting Framework and support the Bank's Transformation and growth
  • Create and support the reporting needs of various lines of business (LOBs)
  • Deliver insightful business reporting and find ways to streamline and automate complex processes using BI automation tools
  • Transform data into valuable insights that drive decision-making

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in financial services reporting and providing business insights
  • Proven experience in reporting and analytics, strong understanding of reporting best practices, proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, or other industry standard BI tools
  • Strong communication skills, including oral and written, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-driven and self-sufficient, with strong analytical, logical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
  • Digital savvy, able to adapt to new reporting tools and trends
  • Give meaning to data, enjoy investigating complex problems and making sense of information, communicate detailed information in a meaningful way, leverage data to prepare analysis, develop insights, and implement models/rules to improve detection
  • Embrace and champion change, live our values - trust, teamwork, and accountability

At CIBC, you will receive a competitive total rewards package including a salary range of $75,000- $90,000 USD for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. You may also be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may include a discretionary bonus component. Pay

The expected salary range for this role is $75,000- $90,000 USD for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position.

Schedule

This position offers a flexible work arrangement where you'll spend 1 day per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
