About the Role

This is an onsite role in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The position works as a business liaison with others across the organization to drive key financial planning processes such as forecasting, budgeting, data aggregation, and analytics. The Senior Financial Analyst will provide daily oversight, guidance, and strategic analysis of key financial metrics and support the implementation and enforcement of internal controls. This position is also responsible for data modeling and dashboard creation.

Responsibilities

  • Create and distribute a variety of monitoring tools such as labor reports, cost of sales analyses, and profit and loss statements, and offer suggestions for operational and/or financial improvement based on this analysis.*
  • Assist with the capital planning and spending process, which includes analyzing, tracking, reporting, and forecasting capital spend as well as ensuring compliance with the capital asset policy.*
  • Continually seek new and improved ways to analyze and present data to management with greater automation and clarity.*
  • Develop user-friendly, standardized templates for financial analysis, incorporating automation where possible.*
  • Provide strategic thinking and advanced problem solving skills.*
  • Assist in the development and deployment of tools to enhance the FP&A function as well as deliverables to non-financial partners.*
  • Assist with other projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Minimum of 5 years of Financial Planning and Analysis or related experience
  • Supervisory experience preferred

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Hospitality Management

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Comprehensive knowledge/experience working with advanced functions of Excel and Google Sheets, as well as other Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines
