Responsibilities
- Assists in the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Develops and maintains financial models and tools to support business performance and decision-making.
- Conducts comprehensive financial analysis, identifies trends, and provides strategic insights to senior management.
- Provides insightful analysis regarding period over period and actual vs. forecast performance; continually improves and manages variance analyses reporting.
- Conducts ad-hoc research and analyses around performance and profitability, addressable market, resource allocations, operational efficiencies, etc.
- Collaborates with various teams, including controlling, accounting, and other functional departments, to gather, validate, and analyze financial data.
- Maintains key financial metrics, proactively identifies areas of concern, and recommends appropriate actions.
- Develops a deep understanding of business drivers at both the product and overall enterprise levels.
- Plays a key role in supporting growth and value-maximizing initiatives.
- Provides guidance and support to junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis or similar role.
- Advanced proficiency in financial analysis tools, such as Excel, and experience working with financial planning software.
- Self-starter who can deliver in a dynamic environment under tight timelines and changing priorities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present actionable insights.
- Prioritize communication of complex concepts in a simple manner.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate complex concepts in a simple manner.
- High sense of accountability and urgency.
- Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
