About the role

A Contract Administrator responsible for account management, customer liaison, and administrative coordination for OE, spares, overhaul, and repair contracts across commercial and military customers globally.

Responsibilities

  • Administer OE, spares, and overhaul/repair contracts for domestic and international customers.
  • Review, enter, acknowledge, and process customer orders and amendments.
  • Initiate the Contract Review process by documenting customer requirements and routing them to relevant internal departments.
  • Perform preliminary review and analysis of contract terms, conditions, and issues.
  • Review contractually binding documents (MOU, MOI, NDA, PIA) in coordination with management.
  • Ensure contract obligations are fulfilled throughout the contract duration.
  • Conduct routine reviews and respond to customer contract demands with Business Development, Contracts, and Product Line Management groups.
  • Interpret contract language and consult with management and legal as needed.
  • Ensure ERP sales order entry is complete, timely, and accurate.
  • Maintain custody and organization of all contractual documents.
  • Manage phone and written communication with customers regarding contract issues.
  • Meet customer expectations while focusing on risk and cost control to support organizational profitability.
  • Initiate enterprise-wide contract review for customer proposals, including pricing, statement of work, terms, and compliance requirements.
  • Provide negotiation support to Business Development, Contracts, and Product Line Management groups.
  • Support Finance, Program Management, Engineering, and Compliance on contract matters, regulatory issues, and government/commercial contracting.
  • Assist in developing and implementing standard processes and procedures for contract administration.
  • Support monthly SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning) meetings to ensure accurate part provisioning.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, with 6+ years of experience preferred.
  • Extremely strong customer service skills, business acumen, and a positive attitude.
  • Experience in a high-volume quoting and contract award environment.
  • Superior organization, multitasking, and closing skills in a fast-paced setting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with mastery of Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of JDE ERP system preferred.

Desired Skills & Abilities

  • Previous contract administration experience in the aerospace industry.
  • FAR and government contracting experience and knowledge preferred.

Pay

$82,000 – $123,000 annually.
