Senior Analyst - BCG Vantage, Organization Design & Operating Model

About the role

Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is seeking a Senior Analyst (SA) to join our Client Focused team within the People and Organization (POP) Practice Area, focusing on the Organization Design & Operating Model topic. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of consulting experience in Organization Design & Operating Model topics or 3+ years of industry experience with 4-6+ years of experience strongly preferred. Bachelor’s degree with high academic achievement is required, and advanced degrees are preferred. Key responsibilities include solving client problems through formulating and presenting relevant research and analytical approaches in change management, culture, or business transformation; managing and delivering initiatives with multiple milestones; creating client-ready deliverables; and collaborating with global topic leads and colleagues across BCG.

Responsibilities

• Serve as content expert and advisor to case teams and topic/sector leaders, helping to structure and solve complex client issues around Organization Design & Operating Model efforts.
• Contribute to client cases, workshops, and proposals, occasionally traveling to serve clients onsite during staffing assignments.
• Support commercialization efforts for the topic/sector working by contributing analysis and insights to proposals, building workshops or knowledge sharing sessions, and developing marketing materials.
• Contribute to developing intellectual property & assets for the business and assisting in onboarding and training junior colleagues based on your topic/sector expertise.

Requirements

• Expertise in relevant topics such as leadership, communications and engagement, culture, program management, wellbeing, and behavioral science.
• Fluency in English and strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders while working in a global collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of consulting experience in Organization Design & Operating Model topics or 3+ years of industry experience with 4-6+ years of experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree with high academic achievement; advanced degree preferred.

• Managing and successfully delivering many initiatives with multiple milestones in client setting.
• Building client-ready deliverables in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Communicating with senior stakeholders in a credible and confident way.
• Collecting, synthesizing, and analyzing case team learnings and outputs to develop new proprietary knowledge assets.
• Working collaboratively and effectively in a group dynamic often virtual, proficient in agile ways of working.
• Flexibility and bringing a curious and creative mindset, open to new things and able to propose innovative ideas.
• Navigating complexity and ambiguity, independently managing work products to meet agreed upon deadlines and expectations.

As a Client Focused Vantage team member, you will work face to face with clients and with BCG Project Leaders, Associates, and Consultants. In the period between cases, you will collaborate with global topic leads and colleagues across BCG to bring expertise and capabilities to the service of our internal and external clients.
