About the role
Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is seeking a Senior Analyst – BCG Vantage to join our Topic Activation path within the Public Sector Practice Area. The ideal candidate will work in a growing global team, providing industry/functional expertise and insights while supporting case and proposal teams.
Responsibilities
- Support commercialization efforts for the topic/sector working, contributing analysis and insights to proposals, client workshops, and marketing materials.
- Conduct data pulls and perform analysis from both publicly available and proprietary data sources, including IPEDS and U.S. Census.
- Research across different education segments (early childhood, K-12, higher education) on major topics (student experience and pathways, impact of GenAI, affordability, macro trends around enrollment, etc.).
- Handle a large portfolio of knowledge capture and material curation to catalog education credentials, codify casework into vignettes, capture and frequently update value, and contribute to major IP initiatives.
- Assist case teams and stakeholders with business development, including proposal support that draws on credentials and past perspectives and approaches.
Requirements
- 2+ years of consulting experience in education, higher education, workforce development, and/or economic development required; candidates with consulting experience strongly preferred.
- In lieu of consulting experience, 3+ years minimum industry experience required; 4-6+ years of industry experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred).
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. federal government security clearance.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
