About the Role

Prometheus Federal Services (PFS) is a trusted partner of federal health agencies. We are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst to support evaluation of a Federal Healthcare Agency’s organization structure, programs, processes, and knowledge management practices. The Senior Analyst will lead execution of analytical tasks while also supporting implementation. This role blends hands-on analytical work with meeting facilitation and logistics support, keeping the engagement’s most execution-heavy task area organized and on schedule.

The ideal candidate has experience leading analytical work (e.g., current/future state process mapping, structured staff interviews). The Senior Analyst will also support project coordination, meeting facilitation, and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead execution of the Program/Process Assessment and Re-Engineering task by reviewing SOPs and work instructions, conducting structured staff interviews, and identifying throughput constraints across priority programs/processes selected for assessment and redesign.
  • Develop current-state and future-state program/process maps, including flow diagrams identifying steps, decision points, handoffs, and responsible parties.
  • Support development of baseline metrics and help validate future-state designs against the SOW’s cycle-time-reduction targets.
  • Support development of the phased implementation roadmap, sequencing recommended changes based on priority, dependencies, and resource availability.
  • Support identification of roles, responsibilities, dependencies, and scheduling for implementation activities.
  • Facilitate meetings across the engagement, including scheduling, materials preparation, and logistics coordination.
  • Lead administrative support functions for the team, ensuring documentation, scheduling, and cross-task coordination run smoothly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 7+ years of experience in business process assessment, process re-engineering, and/or management consulting.
  • PMP certification (or similar) required.
  • Demonstrated experience developing current-state/future-state process maps and flow diagrams.
  • Strong meeting facilitation and organizational/logistics skills.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship.
  • Ability to obtain public trust.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certification strongly preferred (or equivalent).
  • Prior experience supporting HHS, its subagencies, or another federal health/regulatory agency.
  • Experience supporting organizational assessment, program evaluation, or business process improvement engagements.
  • Working familiarity with FAR/HHSAR administrative and reporting requirements.
  • Experience coordinating integrated project teams that include subcontractor personnel.

Benefits

  • Health, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Flexible spending accounts.
  • Disability and life insurance.
  • Retirement plan.
  • Paid time off.
  • Other programs to support employees and their families.
