Senior Analyst
Job Description and Duties
This position is located at the DMV Headquarters in Sacramento. Under the direction of the Administrative and General Law Support Supervisor II, the Analyst III acts as the lead coordinator for Public Records Act (PRA) and is responsible for implementing and administering PRA guidelines and procedures to ensure compliance. The incumbent provides direction and guidance to PRA processing staff to ensure consistency for timely response to requests. Working knowledge of the Public Records Act is preferred.

Working Conditions
Part-time telework available. Telework requires California residency. This position offers hybrid telework opportunities; however, telework arrangements are subject to change at any time based on State & departmental operational needs. Employees may be required to report to the office as necessary.
Works in an office setting, in a cubicle, with artificial lighting and temperature control. Primarily sedentary for extended periods of time; to operate a computer terminal; participate at meetings. Ability to communicate effectively with internal/external customers over the telephone, in person, or via e-mail. Requires fine hand manipulation and repetitive use of hands. May require several hours of reviewing documents in both hard copy and electronic format. Occasional reaching above shoulder level and occasional bending/stooping and occasional moving up to fifteen pounds.
