What You'll Do
- Develop, maintain, and improve reporting solutions, analyze large data sets, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Ensure data analysis needs by the business are met while operating within data governance requirements.
- Deliver and communicate complex findings in a clear and concise manner to your assigned business line.
- Lead the design, build, and maintenance of advanced dashboards and reporting tools to monitor key business performance metrics while upholding data and reporting standards, ensuring consistency and compliance across all projects worked on.
- Identify and develop automation techniques from available technology to produce efficient and effective processes.
- Perform deep-dive analysis on large, complex datasets to extract meaningful insights. Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies and provide data-based recommendations to help drive operational improvements and strategy.
- Understand business unit reporting and analytical needs and translate business questions into analytical tasks that help drive strategic decisions.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Design and implement systems to ensure data accuracy and reliability by performing thorough validation and quality checks. Collaborate with IT teams to enhance data infrastructure and improve data accessibility.
What You'll Need
- 3+ years of related experience in Data Analytics & Data Management or similar field.
- Bachelor's degree in related field required.
- Entry level to intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
- Entry level to intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
- Intermediate experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with project management and managing multiple priorities and deliverables.
- Intermediate experience presenting findings from large datasets in a clear, actionable way.
- Experience with predictive modeling, statistical analysis, or machine learning preferred.
- Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
