Core Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end design process across web applications, spanning initial user research to final visual layout and delivery.
  • Define and execute the product design strategy in close collaboration with product, engineering, and executive leadership teams.
  • Mentor and guide a small team of UX/UI designers to ensure high design quality and foster professional growth.
  • Advocate for user needs by establishing proactive research, usability testing, and continuous feedback loops.
  • Create comprehensive wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
  • Develop and maintain a scalable design system and centralized UI component library.
  • Collaborate closely with developers to ensure the accurate technical implementation of design solutions.
  • Enforce strict design consistency, usability, responsiveness, and digital accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1) across all devices.
  • Analyze user data, heatmaps, and behavior patterns to make evidence-based, data-driven design decisions.
  • Present design work directly to stakeholders, clearly articulating visual rationale and user value.
  • Utilize generative AI to automate repetitive tasks, build rapid design options, and create personalized, adaptive user interfaces.
  • Practice prompt engineering to generate high-quality outputs from specialized AI design tools.
  • Plan and facilitate interactive workshops and meetings to gather critical feedback from key customers.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (or 5 years of equivalent professional experience).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in user experience (UX) and service design.
  • A strong professional portfolio demonstrating comprehensive UX and UI work for responsive web applications.
  • High proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
  • Deep understanding of web design principles, usability mechanics, responsive layouts, and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1).
  • Solid experience conducting user research methods, usability testing, and design validation.
  • Proven ability to guide and influence product choices through structured design thinking.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with a collaborative, human-centered design mindset.
  • Native or bilingual English language proficiency.
