Senior AI Product Manager
Profile Summary
The Senior AI Product Manager is responsible for leading the development and delivery of AI-powered product capabilities within digital and wealth management solutions. This role owns the roadmap and execution for one or more AI products or major feature sets, translating business needs into scalable AI solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
Profile Description
Own and execute the product roadmap for AI-powered features or products within participant, advisor, or plan sponsor experiences.
Translate business problems and customer needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
Partner with engineering and data science teams to support model development, testing, and deployment.
Evaluate product performance using defined success metrics such as engagement, adoption, and operational efficiency; recommend iterative improvements.
Conduct customer and stakeholder discovery to inform product decisions, including advisors, plan sponsors, administrators, and internal partners.
Support prioritization of AI opportunities using available data, business context, and strategic alignment.
Ensure product solutions align with compliance, legal, risk, and fiduciary requirements in a regulated financial services environment.
Contribute to go-to-market planning, rollout execution, and stakeholder communication for AI-enabled features or products.
Collaborate cross-functionally across business, technology, and risk partners, influencing decisions within the immediate product domain.
Knowledge & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field required.
5–8 years of product management experience, including exposure to AI or machine learning products.
Experience supporting delivery of AI-powered features or products from concept through launch.
Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts, including model lifecycle, large language models (LLMs), and data-driven product development.
Ability to write clear product requirements and partner effectively with engineering and data science teams.
Experience working in regulated environments and collaborating with compliance, legal, and risk stakeholders.
Understanding of retirement, wealth, or financial services products and related workflows.
Strong communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
Compensation
Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities. The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
