Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior AI Product Manager to manage the product lifecycle, drive use-case discovery, and define a multi-year AI product strategy. The role balances both technical product planning and product marketing to align cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence capabilities with core organizational goals. This is a full-time, direct-hire (permanent) position operating on a hybrid framework with the primary site located in Linthicum Heights, MD.
Core Responsibilities
- Define the multi-year AI product strategy and create strategic roadmaps targeted at achieving productivity gains and revenue growth.
- Lead AI use-case discovery, orchestrate prompt design initiatives, and establish clear stakeholder alignment across technical and non-technical business units.
- Gather detailed product requirements from end users, draft user stories with clear acceptance criteria, and document specifications for development teams within an Agile environment.
- Manage products seamlessly across the entire product lifecycle from initial conception and requirements prioritizing through to market adoption.
- Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and core product success metrics.
- Provide detailed level of effort (LOE) estimates for proposed technological solutions while clearly articulating architectural benefits and feasibility risks.
- Research emerging web application technologies, middleware solutions, and AI advancements to analyze their direct applicability to existing business processes.
- Compare competitive technical solutions to ensure all development plans strictly adhere to established organizational standards.
- Deliver hands-on, expert-level technical assistance and guidance to software developers.
- Implement responsible AI frameworks, incorporating strict guidelines for model monitoring, data security, and bias mitigation.
- Partner cross-functionally with user experience (UX), engineering, sales, and legal teams to verify product usability, compliance, and legal viability.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related technical discipline (or 5 years of additional equivalent professional experience).
- A minimum of 5 years of dedicated professional experience in technical product management.
- A proven professional background operating as a technical business analyst.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience defining AI product strategies, outlining roadmap visions, or configuring prompt designs.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented workflow habits with exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
- Native or bilingual English language proficiency.
