Senior AI Product Designer

About the role

Our client is seeking a senior-level Product Designer to lead the design of a net-new, AI-first product area within an enterprise collaborative work management platform. This role requires a strategic design leader who can drive alignment across cross-functional teams, navigate ambiguity, and deliver end-to-end product experiences from concept through implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for a new AI-first product area, from discovery and concept development through detailed, engineering-ready specifications.
• Explore multiple design approaches and clearly communicate rationale, tradeoffs, and recommendations.
• Facilitate and actively participate in cross-functional workshops, reviews, and stakeholder meetings.
• Drive alignment across product, engineering, and design teams to support decision-making and execution.
• Deliver comprehensive design solutions, including user flows, states, edge cases, and interaction details.
• Create innovative interaction patterns for AI-powered experiences, including conversational interfaces, generative outputs, agentic workflows, and trust/transparency features.
• Partner closely with product managers and engineers while contributing to and extending the design system as needed.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Product Design, UX Design, or related experience, including lead or principal-level ownership of complex enterprise SaaS products.
• Proven experience designing AI-first or AI-native product experiences.
• Demonstrated success taking new products or major product areas from concept to launch (0-to-1 experience).
• Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience producing detailed, developer-ready specifications and end-to-end design documentation.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and modern design/prototyping tools.
• Ability to quickly ramp up, operate independently, and thrive in ambiguous environments.
• Experience prototyping AI interactions is a plus.
