About the role
Epsilon C5I is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer (SE4) to lead the development of advanced AI solutions for the intelligence community and autonomy applications. The ideal candidate will design and train neural networks, analyze multi-dimensional data, and lead a team of engineers.
Responsibilities
- Design and train neural networks for various applications
- Analyze and manipulate multi-dimensional tabular, meta-, and geospatial imagery data
- Interpret results and compare with truth data
- Conduct post processing and data reduction
- Write analysis reports and create briefings
- Work independently and in a team environment
- Lead a team of engineers
- Mentor junior engineers
Requirements
- Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field
- Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility
- Pursuant to government contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Citizen
- 10 years of software engineering experience with a strong background in:
- Collecting labeled data and Neural Network (NN) training
- Programming: Python, C++, MATLAB, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras
- Satellite imagery, image processing, and geospatial-temporal image data
- Geospatial Self-Organizing Map (SOM) data
- Geospatial vector graphics and multi-modal dataset integration
- Computer vision such as object detection and segmentation
- Vector embedding, similarity search, and RAG architectures
- Database schema design and large-scale geospatial data
- CI/CD, AWS, and ML Ops pipelines
- Building graph databases
- Building PostgreSQL databases with vector store (pgVector), audit (pgAudit), edit (pgAdmin), and geographic (PostGIS) capability
- Acquiring data and data wrangling for NN and transformer training and prompting
- Graph Neural Network (GNN) frameworks, training GNNs, and extracting embedding vectors and likelihoods
- Building Vision Transformer framework, training transformers, and extracting embedding vectors and likelihoods
- Large Language Models (LLM) and implementing templates to guide responses
- Vision Language Models (VLM) and Visual Question Answering (VQA)
- Experience with CLIP and LLaVA is a plus
