AI/ML Engineer (Senior)

This position is for a Senior AI/ML Engineer in the Digital department, focusing on developing and deploying AI and machine learning solutions to enhance patient care and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include leading the design, development, integration, and standardization of AI-driven solutions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and translating clinical needs into technical specifications. You will leverage advanced AI techniques such as deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision, while establishing evaluation metrics to assess effectiveness and usability. The role involves overseeing system engineering, facilitating automated AI software development through CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will provide mentorship, guidance, and training to team members and offer consultative support to clinical units and AI product teams. Qualifications include a master’s degree with relevant experience or a bachelor’s degree with more extensive experience, proficiency in AI/ML frameworks, experience working with healthcare data, and strong communication skills. Preferred qualifications include a Ph.D., expertise in healthcare-specific AI applications, and leadership in regulated environments.
