Senior AI Engineer, Legal - USA Remote

Responsibilities

• Partner with legal teams to translate workflows into technical solutions
• Architect and build AI applications for legal tasks such as contract review and compliance workflows
• Deliver production-grade AI features through clean, well-tested code and CI/CD pipelines
• Implement governance and security measures for applications handling confidential legal content
• Lead technical mentoring efforts and bridge communications between legal and engineering teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, data science, or machine learning engineering
• Expertise in large language models (LLMs) including prompt engineering and evaluation frameworks
• Strong Python programming skills, experience with AI libraries like LangChain and Hugging Face; TypeScript experience is a plus
• Background or interest in legal, compliance, or regulatory fields
