Senior Advanced Quality Specialist

About the Role

Join a team that creates advanced, often classified technologies to support service members, intelligence analysts, and first responders. As a Senior Advanced Quality Specialist, you'll lead continuous improvement initiatives and work on cutting-edge projects involving Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, AR/VR, Cloud Native, and Quantum Physics across cyber, RF, undersea, and interstellar domains.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement teams and activities.
• Compare defects against standards and recommend disposition.
• Review and disposition QA documentation.
• Verify corrective action implementation and rework.
• Lead audits and team meetings.
• Participate in one or more project teams in a highly technical product development and production area.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related specialized area or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience (minimum 8 years); or Master’s degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• J-STD-001, J-STD-002, IPC 610, MIL-STD-883, or NASA standards certification may be required within 30 days of hire.
• Very strong knowledge of standards such as ISO 9001:2000, CMMI, ISO 14001, ASME, ANSI, and EIA.
• Excellent understanding of contract quality requirements and flow down to suppliers/sub-contractors.
• Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Due to the nature of work, U.S. citizenship is required.

Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Pay

Target salary range: USD $113,114.00/Yr. - USD $122,392.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range based on experience and geographic location.
