Senior ADS Components Owner
About the role
At Volvo Group, you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry, and society at large. You will ensure robust industrialization of Autonomous Driving systems by owning the lifecycle of ADS electrical and electronic hardware components from requirement definition through industrialization and series production.
Responsibilities
- Define and document hardware requirements
- Secure standardized interfaces aligned with long-term platform objectives
- Lead the technical supplier interface to drive delivery, quality, and compliance
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and purchasing to secure documentation, traceability, validation, and release readiness, including PPAP approval of partner hardware components
- Support manufacturing readiness and product strategy
Requirements
You will bring essential experience owning or industrializing E and E hardware components in automotive or another high-compliance industrial environment. Strong capability in requirements engineering, technical documentation, and traceability through release. Proven experience leading supplier technical interfaces and driving performance, quality, and corrective actions. Solid cross-functional leadership skills across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and purchasing. Experience with component validation and production readiness, including PPAP or equivalent processes. Experience with AD or ADAS systems and multi-partner integration contexts.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of standardized interface strategies and platform governance
- Nice to have: Experience influencing hardware roadmaps in alignment with product and manufacturing strategies, Familiarity with Technical Requirements (TR) documentation practices and methods
Skills

Pay
The base pay for this role is set at $96,000.00 - $118,500.00 annually, and where applicable, bonus eligible. Final salary offered, as well as the range for this role, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience.
