About the Role
As a Senior Admissions Advisor, you will guide prospective students on their path towards a career in healthcare, helping them change their own lives and those of the patients in their care. You will be a prospective student’s first connection at West Coast University, supporting them through the application and enrollment process.
Responsibilities
- Handle a high volume of student inquiries and follow-up activities.
- Continuously follow up on prospective student inquiries and assigned inquiries in a timely manner.
- Notate conversations with prospective students in Customer Relationship Management software.
- Send marketing materials to prospective students.
- Ensure the Admissions team meets goals.
- Assist Admissions Advisors with prospective student obstacles such as childcare, financial problems, transportation needs, and work schedule.
- Assist with monitoring Admissions Advisor’s telephone activities.
- Support Admissions Advisors to achieve goals.
- Strive to secure higher quality assurance evaluation scores than the Admissions Advisors.
- Maintain an acceptable level of prospective student referral inquiries.
- Respond to all inquiries in a timely manner.
- Manage conversion rates, such as inquiries to appointments, to meet goals.
- Assist prospective students with completing enrollment packets.
- Verify and record prospective student information.
- Complete tuition information sheet for the Financial Aid department.
- Discuss financial obligations with prospective students.
- Review students' Financial Aid outcomes to determine affordability.
- Address questions and concerns from new students.
- Emphasize the importance of orientation to new students.
- Recruit and enroll qualified applicants into programs of study beneficial to the students’ career objectives and academic needs using sales and marketing techniques, including group presentations/events, campus tours, on and off-site job fairs, and other methods.
- Ensure that prospective students complete all required forms for enrollment and processing.
Requirements
- Experience with MS Office.
- Experience with data entry and multi-line phone aptitude.
- Ability to conduct individual or group information sessions and advise students about their educational opportunities.
- Ability to self-direct, self-pace, multi-task, and function well under pressure of deadlines and conflicting priorities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
