Senior Administrative Associate, General Accounting
Position is an internal Grade Level 010. Candidate must be geographically located in the same region as the position or willing to self-relocate.
About the role
Performs general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance, and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements (e.g., balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements, and capital expenditure schedules). Prepares, records, analyzes, and reports accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles. Provides financial support, including forecasting, budgeting, and analyzing variations from budget. Analyzes and prepares statutory accounts, financial statements, and reports. Conducts or assists in the documentation of accounting projects. Provides administrative or technical support to ensure effective on-going operations.
Applies knowledge of established processes and procedures to execute with excellence. Requires full proficiency in a range of assignments gained through training and considerable experience. Provides solutions to problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring. Takes a broad perspective to problems and spots new, less obvious solutions. Identifies key issues and patterns from partial or conflicting data. Completes work with limited supervision. Likely to act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 40-hour work week
- Flexible work start time between 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM Eastern Time
