Senior Administrative Assistant – Full Time – Hospice Saratoga

About the Role

As a valued member of the hospice team, the Administrative Assistant supports the mission and values of Community Hospice by providing exceptional administrative and customer service support to patients, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Tracking, processing, and maintaining physician orders to ensure timely completion and compliance
• Supporting and covering Home Health Aide (HHA) and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) scheduling needs
• Answering and directing calls on a multi-line telephone system, routing calls, messages, and information to field staff
• Greeting and assisting visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
• Managing incoming faxes and other documentation
• Performing data entry and maintaining accurate records, while utilizing various computer software applications to support daily operations

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred
• Minimum of three (3) years of administrative or secretarial experience
• Strong customer service and computer skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, flexible, adaptable, and responsive to change

Pay

Pay Range: $18.50 - $24.92 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
