Senior Actuarial Analyst - Medical Economics

About the role

The Senior Actuarial Analyst will contribute to the Medical Economics Enablement team, applying actuarial expertise to transform healthcare data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Develops reporting structure, toolset and analytic strategy to support market and domain teams as well as pricing for programs and products.
• Sets up and enhances actuarial models to support the rating process.
• Distributes established reports and responds to inquiries.
• Investigates trends and anomalies and coordinates the creation of BI content (reports, dashboards, scorecards).
• Maintains a robust knowledge of data assets and tools and supports the development of a formal Knowledge Base.
• Participates in project planning, implementation, management, and contributions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)
• 4+ years of relevant actuarial experience
• Completed 5 or more exams towards the ASA designation or equivalent experience
• Commercial and Medicare Healthcare knowledge (preferred)
• Experience with risk modeling, normalization, outlier analysis, and benchmarking
• Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) software (preferably Power BI)
• Experience with MS suite and Power tools (Power Automate, etc.)
• Experience with AI development tools (especially Copilot and Cortex Code)
• SQL (especially the Snowflake environment)
• Python/R
• Automation/workflow software like Alteryx

Pay

$98,992.00 - $156,947.00

Schedule

Hybrid Flex approach with at least two days a week in the office for collaboration and connection.
