About the role

The Senior Accreditation Specialist plays a pivotal role in leading Ark Children's efforts to achieve the highest standards of compliance and accreditation. This role requires a licensed clinician with extensive knowledge in regulations, standards, and improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes strategic plans to ensure continuous compliance with accrediting oversight organizations, CMS, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert on accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in patient care quality and safety.
  • Conducts ongoing reviews of policies, procedures, and practices to identify areas for improvement and ensure alignment with current standards.
  • Collaborates with clinical and administrative departments to implement changes and improvements that enhance compliance and quality outcomes.
  • Facilitates interdisciplinary teams and working groups focused on accreditation readiness and quality improvement.
  • Acts as a liaison with accrediting agencies and regulatory bodies, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of required information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Related Field - 6 years of experience
  • Leadership - 2 years leadership experience
  • One of the following licenses or registries is required:
    • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification (ARRT)
    • Audiology License
    • Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT)
    • National Compliance Certification
    • Occupational Therapist (OT) License
    • Physical Therapy License
    • Radiologic Technologist License
    • Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree (preferred)
