ACCREDITATION SPECIALIST
About the role
The Lake Havasu City Police Department is seeking an Accreditation Specialist to maintain the department's prestigious Arizona Law Enforcement Accreditation Program (ALEAP) accreditation. This role is available as either a full-time or part-time position.
Responsibilities
- Manage the department's accreditation program
- Keep policies current and compliant
- Cook up audits and on-site assessments
- Track standards and implement improvements
- Conduct inspections and quality assurance reviews
- Research industry best practices
- Prepare reports and presentations for leadership
- Aid with hiring, background investigations, and administrative investigations
Requirements
- Associate’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- 3-5 years of experience in law enforcement administrative experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Successfully complete ALEAP Accreditation Manager Training upon hire

Pay
The starting salary range for this position is $23.89 - $34.64 per hour, with a Trainee rate of pay at $21.50 per hour. The position is classified as Non-Exempt for Full-time Employees and Non-Exempt/Unclassified for Part-time without benefits.
Schedule
This is a flexible employment opportunity that can be either full-time or part-time. The Lake Havasu City Police Department welcomes applications from qualified candidates interested in either employment option. Part-time positions are subject to non-standard or rotating shift work, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and call-backs.
