Senior Accoutant

Key Responsibilities
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare and review journal entries and general ledger activity
- Perform complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Support job costing and project financial tracking
- Aid in WIP schedules and percentage of completion accounting
- Prepare financial reports and support management with analysis
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with internal controls
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and project teams
Qualifications
- 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or contracting
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting
- Experience with job costing and project-based accounting
- Familiarity with WIP reporting is a plus
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or similar)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
