The successful candidate will be comfortable working in an open-office environment, collaborating with team members while independently managing daily accounting responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable (Primary Focus)Manage high-volume accounts payable processing for approximately $80 million in annual payablesReview, process, and reconcile vendor invoices and purchase ordersMonitor vendor accounts and AP agingPrepare and schedule payments based on due datesEnter payment information into accounting systems and maintain payment trackingProcess check payments and maintain accurate recordsIdentify opportunities to improve efficiencies within existing processesAccounts Receivable & BillingSupport full-cycle billing processesPrepare and process customer invoices, including high-dollar transactionsEnter transactions into ERP systems Assist with receivable tracking and collections activitiesSupport accrual accounting processes and related reconciliationsInventory & Accounting SupportAssist with monitoring inventory valued between $40-$50 millionSupport inventory-related reconciliations and reportingMaintain accurate accounting records and documentationAssist with month-end accounting activities as neededCommunication & AdministrationMonitor multiple shared department inboxesRespond professionally to vendor and internal inquiriesCollaborate with purchasing, operations, and other internal teamsMaintain strong written communication and documentation practices Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume environmentAccounts Receivable and billing experienceExperience working with purchase orders and vendor managementGeneral accounting knowledge and understanding of accrual accountingManufacturing experience is helpful but not requiredExperience with QuickBooks, ERP systems, or similar accounting software is preferredWork EnvironmentOpen office settingCollaborative and team-oriented cultureSmall, professional departmentHigh level of autonomy and accountabilityOpportunity to be the primary accounting resource while working closely with leadership Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
