Responsibilities
- Perform full-cycle accounting including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements
- Aid in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and account analyses
- Support annual financial audits
- Prepare technical accounting entries, including lease accounting, purchase accounting, and revenue recognition
- Reconcile intercompany accounts and internal allocations
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans
- Perform budget-to-actual, trend, and variance analysis, identifying key business drivers and communicating insights to leadership
- Build and maintain financial models, cash flow forecasts, and scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making
- Develop KPI dashboards and management reporting focused on revenue, profitability, margins, EBITDA, and operational performance
- Partner with operational leaders to provide financial guidance, improve decision-making, and identify opportunities for efficiency and growth
- Support executive, board, and lender reporting with financial analysis and business commentary
- Participate in profitability analysis, pricing initiatives, capital planning, strategic projects, and M&A support
Requirements
- Progressive accounting experience with an interest in expanding into FP&AStrong understanding of U.S. GAAP and full-cycle accounting
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, or financial modeling
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical/problem-solving abilities
- Self-starter who takes ownership of projects and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership
- Excellent attention to detail while maintaining a big-picture business perspective
Qualifications
- Percentage-of-completion (POC) accounting experience is preferred but not required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
