Senior Accountant, Venture Capital & Fund Accounting

About the role

As a Senior Accountant at FlowFi, you’ll own the monthly close process and act as the primary point of contact for your clients. This isn't just behind-the-scenes work, you’ll help founders make smarter financial decisions by delivering clean, clear, and timely financials.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle accounting for multiple clients (GL, AP/AR, reconciliations, journal entries, financials)
• Own month-end close and ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery
• Serve as the go-to expert for your clients, explaining their numbers, answering questions, and surfacing key insights
• Spot errors or inefficiencies and help fix them
• Share ideas for better processes and collaborate with FlowFi to keep leveling up

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounting (especially managing multiple clients’ books)
• Confident communicator able to explain accounting concepts in plain English
• Sharp eye for detail and strong problem-solving instincts
• Comfortable using QuickBooks Online
• Organized, self-directed, and great at managing deadlines
