About the role
The Senior Accountant of Inventory within the SPS Supply Chain Finance & Accounting team plays a crucial role in the implementation and support of Oracle’s Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Oracle Cloud ERP. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Supply Chain Accounting, this position focuses on WMS to ERP reporting and various WMS-related processes for the Distribution Centers.
Responsibilities
- Reporting on the Oracle Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Trend Financial application
- Supporting Distribution Centers with cycle counts, shipping, receiving, and returns processes
- Managing IT sprints and larger projects to improve system capabilities for the DC
- Ensuring SOX controls are completed
- Collaborating with internal and external auditors
- Providing support on ad-hoc projects as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of financial experience in increasing roles, preferably in Supply Chain
- Experience with public accounting, internal audit, and corporate environments
- Project management experience preferred
