Senior Accountant - Intercompany (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant, Intercompany who will be responsible for various job functions related to both International and Domestic Intercompany reconciliations. The primary focus will be confirming intercompany balances and learning the various bank reconciliations within the department. This position requires a high degree of customer focus when dealing with both internal and external requests.

Responsibilities

• Manage Intercompany transactions, reconcile balances, and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Oversee the end-to-end process for intercompany transactions, including sales, purchases, loans, and settlements
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations related to intercompany activities
• Work with various teams in the organization, including tax, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cost accounting, royalties, and group reporting
• Resolve reconciling items by collaborating with intercompany contacts
• Assist in the identification and implementation of systems improvements
• Update documentation relating to Sarbanes Oxley (SOX)
• Provide necessary documentation and support to both internal and external auditors
• Serve as company administrator for all bank users/processes, Intercompany modules, and Exchange rates module

Requirements

• BS degree in Accounting or related field
• 5 or more years of experience in Intercompany
• Experience working with an offshore team strongly preferred
• Proven leadership experience
• Previous experience with SAP preferred
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills

Pay

The full base pay range for this position is $67,000.00 - $87,100.00 USD. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.
