About the role

Responsibilities
- Maintain general ledger accounts and related activities to produce financial statements and reports
- Reconcile, analyze, and review general ledger accounts in preparation for month-end close
- Prepare journal entries and review accounting classifications in accordance with GAAP
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with or lead month-end and quarter-end close processes for assigned areas
- Prepare documentation to support internal and external audits
- Analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and other financial reports
- Perform ad hoc reporting, investigate issues, and provide clear explanations and recommendations
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, Product, Intersegment) to resolve issues and support business needs
- Identify process improvement opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience
- Experience with account reconciliations and financial analysis
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Solid understanding of GAAP and financial statements
- Proven ability to assess and interpret business needs and requirements
- Proven ability to identify solutions and solve moderately complex problems
Preferred Qualifications
- Hyperion Essbase and PeopleSoft experience

Pay
The salary for this role will range from $60,200 - $107,400 annually based on full-time employment.
