Senior Accountant (Hybrid - Acton, MA)

About the role

Insulet Corporation is seeking a Senior Accountant to support monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting processes related to sales and marketing expenses, debt, and prepaids. This role involves preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and fluctuation analyses, as well as ensuring compliance with US GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly close and internal reporting process by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations for accrued sales and marketing expenses, debt, and prepaids.
• Ensure financial statements comply with US GAAP.
• Analyze monthly and quarterly fluctuations in accounts associated with areas of responsibility.
• Assist with completion of internal controls for assigned areas.
• Develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current processes and recommending improvements.
• Provide support to the General Accounting group with operational analysis related to recurring transactions and monthly account reconciliations.
• Support accounting for new business initiatives.
• Assist with various projects and accounting matters to drive value within the business.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (MSA/MBA a plus).
• 3-4 years of public accounting and/or corporate experience at SEC-registered entities.

Skills

• Proficiency with MS Windows and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Deadline-oriented with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects.
• Collaborative team player.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.

Schedule

This position is eligible for hybrid working arrangements and requires on-site work from an Insulet office.

Pay

For U.S.-based positions, the annual base salary range for this role is $78,500.00 - $117,800.00. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation.
